Raïna Raï formed in 1980 in Paris by musicians from Sidi Bel Abbès and The Black Eagles, a group composed of Tarik Chikhi, Kaddour Bouchentouf, Hachemi Djellouli and Lotfi Attar. The style of their music mix raï, rock and diwane.
The group has never ceased to recompose itself for nearly forty years. It mixes traditional raï with rock and owes a lot to the riffs of guitarist Lotfi Attar who made their hit « Ya Zina » very popular. Raïna Raï released its first album in 1982, « Ya Zina Diri Latay« , then the following year its second, « Hagda« . In 1985, Renaï Raï released its third album, « Rana Hna« .
The group has become famous in Algeria, but also throughout the whole world. The former singer of the group, Djilali Rezkellah has died in 2010. Tarik Chikhi, has died in 2019 and was buried in the cemetery of Sidi Bel Abbès.

Raïna Raï a été formé en 1980 à Paris par les musiciens de Sidi Bel Abbès et The Black Eagles, un groupe composé de Tarik Chikhi, Kaddour Bouchentouf, Hachemi Djellouli and Lotfi Attar. Le style de leur musique mêle raï, rock et diwane.
Le groupe n’a jamais cessé de se recomposer depuis au moins quarante ans. Cela mélange le raï traditionnel avec du rock et doit beaucoup aux impros de guitare de Lofti Attar qui a fait un succès mondial de leur chanson « Ya Zina« . Raïna Raï sort son premier album en 1982, « Ya Zina Diri Latay », puis l’an suivant un deuxième, « Hagda ». En 1985, il publie son troisième album, « Rana Hna ».
Le groupe est devenu célèbre en Algérie, mais aussi à travers le monde. L’ancien chanteur du groupe, Djilali Rezkellah est mort en 2010. Tarik Chikhi, est mort en 2019 et a été inhumé au cimetière de Sidi Bel Abbès
